A valiant try

Great work on the 3D engine, it works like a treat and is nice and smooth. Your graphics are quite top notch too, at least, for mostly anything that isn't a seal/reindeer whatever. The characters look pretty weak, with Mr Rabbit appearing downright awful and non-rabbit like. The NPCs look alright I guess, but nothing really that good. Your frame-by-frame work is a lot better than I remember in your Another Day work Dim, good job on that.

The plot is dull, the characters are duller, and the gameplay is the dullest of all three. It sucks that everyone is facing the same way, seems pretty cheap. The way they speak is pretty annoying and useless, sometimes proving to be a little hard to decipher. I've always hated the way your characters look ^-^;; So bleh on that.

Getting past the whole "Whoa, it's 3D" aspect, it's really nothing great.

Graveyard of Drunk Souls Graveyard of Drunk Souls

Hmm..

So, why are the ratings on this game so high?

Not an enjoyable game, 'cept to look at all the hats you've designed. A bit of nit-picking here, but why do you have the Next button on the left, and the Previous button on the right? The list is in a left-to-right order, just seems weird O.o

There's not much you do on this game either. Hold a, turn left and right, maybe pick up a weapon or some health. It's better to stay on the spot I noticed, as running into a..zombie after killing it, would still cause damage.

The God powers aren't all that impressive either.

Overall, this game could do with quite a bit of work. It seems like a powerfox wannabe, with some hats to pick from and more things to stab, yet lacking in weapons and actual gameplay.

2/5

Battle for Gondor Battle for Gondor

Rated 3 / 5 stars

A good game..

Good job with the graphics and sounds for this game, they're top notch, though just a little repetitive.

Like quite a few others, I disagree with the whole 'hero can't fight' idea. You're not really a hero if you're just sitting around, chopping peons while standard guys kill all the real challanges eh?

However, it's a good idea, just maybe needs a bit of work done to it. Having the hero actually fight with the main units would be a good thing to implement, though I know that'd probably be a hard thing to code in.

Overall, Good Game! Top graphics, just slow gameplay. 3/5

Marvelous!

After my first five minutes of playing this, I literally uttered "Holy Shit" with my jaw fully dropped. Excellent Work!
As expected, the graphics are stunning, very nice job Dan, and the music was top notch. Good job Dustball! I gave a lower score for sound because sometimes the hit sounds would get a tad too noisy.
I loved all the combo's that could be pulled off here.
I've seen a few people complain that there's not enough moves to pull of a good combo, but you just need some imagination and good timing ;) Good job Tom!

This is a stunning game, with just a minor bug and a major bug that I've come across so far.
1. I don't know how I managed to do this, but everytime I 'dived' for them, I would constantly hit them until hitting the ground, with each hit dealing damage.
This also worked with the stronger run attack, where I could punch a guy against the screen, and every attack made when doing the spazzy jump thing, it would hit no matter where the kid was.
2. You've probably seen this before, but you can freeze if you blow up those canisters while in the 'cutscene' with Wilbur.

Matches Matches

Rated 3 / 5 stars

Quite Neat

Yes, the A.I is a downer at the end, but that's the only downfall of this. It's simple, and with a spruce up on the A.I side it could become somewhat challenging (and possibly addictive :P)

It's neat, but too easy :)

Could be great fun

It's fun for a while, but it needs some sound and music. Also try and add something like when you pull his arm and let go, he hits himself. The harder you pull the harder he hits...

Its only 3kb, so alot of stuff can be added to it

Very addictive after a while and very fun just flinging those little buggars in the air. Level 18 until i realised i wanted to restart the game.
